Tuber processing line

Binder plans and builds complete processing lines for tuber vegetables such as e.g. potatoes, carrots, parsnips.

Throughput capacity up to 3000 kg/h.

The picked raw product is evenly fed to e.g. a steam or carborundum peeling machine via a dosing hopper.  The peel and other waste are automatically separated. Any contamination is removed in a washing machine – special conveyor belts can be integrated into the processing line for visual inspections.

A cubing or slicing machine gives the fruit the desired shape. If required, a water treatment bath can be installed downstream with subsequent mechanical surface drying.
The products can then be dried or otherwise preserved.

Processing line for dried tuber vegetables

Directly after the drying process, the products are conveyed e.g. through a sieving unit and an inspection table.  Foreign objects can be additionally separated using a metal detector before the product proceeds for packaging.
The high-quality finished product is packaged in large containers such as sacks or boxes, if required with PE liners.

Application and combination options of our machines are tailored to suit your requirements.
